Ingredients
- Basmati rice – 2 cups
- Peas – 1/2 cup
- Water – 3 cups
- Ghee – 1/4 cup
- Oil – 1/4 cup
- Green chillies – 6 nos (finely chopped)
- Ginger – 10 gms, finely chopped
- Spices – 2 each
- Onion – 2 medium pieces
- Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup
- Cashews, roastesd – 1/4 cup

Method
  1. Soak the rice, cook it adding salt and keep aside.
  2. In a kadai, heat ghee and oil.
  3. Add chopped onion and fry till golden brown.
  4. Then add chopped ginger, green chillies and saute for a minute.
  5. Then add peas and salt.
  6. Put the rice and cook in high heat for 5 to 7 mins.
  7. Garnish with coriander and cashews.
  8. Serve hot with any spicy side dish.
