Paneer Butter Masala

Ingredients

  • Onion paste- 2 tbsp.
  • Paneer-100 g
  • oil or butter-1/4 cup
  • Green chillies- 2
  • Ginger -garlic paste- 1 tsp.
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp.
  • Jeera powder- 1 tsp.
  • Garam masala powder- 2 tsp.
  • Red chilli powder -1 tsp.
  • Haldi powder-½ tsp.
  • Fresh cream -3 tsp.
  • ½ cup – tomato paste
  • Curd-½ cup
  • Cashewnut paste-4 tsp.
  • Butter- 2 tsp.
  • Salt – to taste
  • Coriander for garnishing- a handful

Method:

  1. Cut Paneer into medium size pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai & add Onion paste, fry till golden brown in colour.
  3. Add Green chillies, Ginger garlic paste & fry for 2 mins.
  4. Now add Red Chilli powder, coriander powder, jeera powder, Garam masala, turmeric & salt. Mix well & fry for 3-4 mins.
  5. Add tomato paste, Curd, Cashew nut paste, Butter, fresh cream & Paneer to it.
  6. Mix well & boil for 2-3 mins.serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
  7. Garnish with Coriander & serve hot .
